What irrigation services do you offer?
We perform basic checkups & repairs as well as irrigation retrofits using the latest water-saving technology, system evaluations, troubleshooting and leak detection, renovations and upgrades, sprinkler system repair, water management consultations, and “smart” weather-based controller installation and maintenance.
Are you licensed and insured for irrigation work?
Yes. We are fully licensed C-27 Landscape Contractors and insured to perform irrigation work.

Choosing a Qualified Irrigation Contractor
How do I find a qualified irrigation contractor?
Look for a company that specializes in irrigation, holds proper certifications and a contractor’s license, and offers repairs, troubleshooting, and problem diagnosis. Ask whether they stay current on water-efficient technology.
Why does plant knowledge matter in an irrigation contractor?
The best contractors understand landscape plants and trees and how each should be watered, and can identify when irrigation scheduling or application of water is causing plant or tree decline then correct it.
What certifications does your team hold?
Our staff includes a Certified Water Manager, plus Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor, Landscape Irrigation Technician, Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper, and Certified Arborist credentials. We are also members of the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA).
Water Conservation & Smart Controllers
Why is my water bill so high, or my landscape unhealthy?
Overwatering is a common cause of both. We evaluate your system, correct inefficient scheduling, and retrofit your sprinklers to save water without sacrificing your landscape’s appearance. Typically, the landscape will improve when properly irrigated.
Do you install “smart” weather-based controllers?
Yes. Smart controllers automatically adjust watering to the season and weather, properly watering your plants and trees while conserving water. They can also greatly improve the health of your plants, and may qualify for a California water rebate.
Have you been recognized for water conservation?
Yes. Co-owner Fran Lambert is a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor and Certified Water Manager, recognized by the California Urban Water Conservation Council, and Mariposa was named Grangetto’s Farm and Garden Supply Green Partner of the Year.

Do you repair existing sprinkler systems?
Yes. We have many years of experience with sprinkler repair, leak detection, and troubleshooting all phases of irrigation systems.
Who supervises the work?
Our Irrigation Technicians are supervised by a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor and Certified Water Manager, and are experienced and well trained
Irrigation System Checkups & Maintenance
What is an irrigation system checkup?
A periodic inspection to ensure your system is operating at its optimum level. If it isn’t, we troubleshoot the problem and perform the necessary repairs.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
Yes. We provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and management services to keep your landscape in top condition year-round.
